This wonderful Scottish Silver Celtic brooch is Circa 1940.

The beautiful piece boasts an engraved Celtic emblem in the centre showing beautiful workmanship.

Scottish jewellery was made popular by Queen Victoria as it became a souvenir of her trips to Scotland. From the mid 1800's Queen Victoria frequented Scotland and her Scottish Castle Balmoral.

The piece was made by Iain MacCormick whose initials are stamped on the reverse along with the IONA hallmark which represents Alexander Ritchie’s renowned Iona Celtic Arts pieces.

The brooch looks beautiful when worn, a wonderful Scottish piece that deserves to be treasured.

Weighs 12.6 grams.

Measures 38mm across x 38mm down.
